Can beginners and those using resin enjoy this?

Yes, people of all ages and genders enjoy creating art.

Children aged 10 to 18 years may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please rest assured that our teaching staff will provide you with thorough instruction.

●I'm not confident in my artistic sense, is that okay?

Please rest assured that our teaching staff will provide you with thorough instruction.

●When can I pick up the works I made during the trial course?

Since epoxy resin takes at least 24 hours to harden and about 2 days to fully harden, customers will receive their work from the day of the experience.

Please come back to the store after 2 days, or we can deliver it to your place for a fee.

●Is the room well ventilated?

Yes. Please rest assured that the ventilation is good. Also, we use resin that does not emit any odor.

Those who are sensitive to smells can rest assured.

●Are material costs included in the price?

Yes, it is included.

●Are there any necessary items to bring?

Nothing in particular.

●I have small children. Can I bring them with me?

Yes, that's fine.

●Are there any joining fees or annual fees?

Nothing in particular.

●Is there a cancellation fee?

Cancellations are free up to 2 days (48 hours) before the reservation date and time. Cancellation fees apply in the following cases.

・2 days before the reservation (48 to 24 hours before): 50%

・On the day of your reservation (up to 24 hours in advance): 100% If you are going to be late for your reservation even slightly, please contact us as soon as possible.

・Date changes: Can be changed up to one day (24 hours) before the reservation date and time.

●Will photos be posted on the store's social media?

Photos may be posted on Instagram only if you give us permission.

●Can I post photos of the trial course on social media?

Yes, you are welcome to do so. If you are on Instagram, please mention us at @laulea.ocean_art_hawaii. If you are on other social media, we would appreciate it if you could include a link to our website.

●Can you make custom orders?

Please feel free to ask us any questions.

●Can I experience resin art while I am pregnant?

Although the risk to the fetus and the pregnant mother is thought to be low, it is generally said that during pregnancy, the resistance of the mother is weaker than usual and the mother is more susceptible to stress from external factors. Therefore, we ask that you make your own decision. We would appreciate it if you would consider your health as your number one priority.

●Is it okay to bring an attendant?

Yes, that's okay. Please note that if you are bringing more than five people, we may not be able to provide chairs.

Do you have bags to take home?

Yes, we have paper bags available.

●How can I display the works I create during this experience at home?

Wall hook: A string is threaded through the metal fittings on the back of the picture frame, so it can be hung on the wall using a wall hook.

Easels: Available on Amazon and other retailers.

Velcro type: You can display your artwork without making holes in the wall. (Not suitable for walls covered with vinyl cloth.) 

Type to stand on furniture such as shelves, tables, shoe boxes, chairs, etc. 

Type to be placed directly on the floor

● Tips for keeping your artwork beautiful and long-lasting

・Avoid direct sunlight (ultraviolet rays).

・Avoid humidity and display in a well-ventilated place.

・Avoid direct exposure to air conditioning.

●Is it okay to get resin liquid on my hands?

Touching liquid resin with bare hands may cause pain, itching, allergies, etc., so do not touch liquid resin before hardening with bare hands. Please be sure to wear gloves when handling liquid resin. If liquid resin gets on your skin, immediately wipe it off with tissue or ethanol-containing wet tissue, and wash thoroughly with soapy water. If you are still concerned about stickiness, we have a special detergent (resin remover) that can be used to eliminate stickiness. Please wash your hands thoroughly after use.

What symptoms can occur from an allergy to resin?

Allergic reactions may occur if you come into direct contact with liquid resin before it hardens or come into contact with the volatile components of resin. Allergies to resin may cause symptoms such as itchy or painful skin, blisters, and rhinitis.

Is resin carcinogenic?

There is no need to worry as the resins commonly used have not been confirmed to be carcinogenic.
